What do you think of the Beowulf character and all his men in the movie version? What "un-epic" episodes and elements have you noticed so far? Do these additions make it better or worse in your opinion? Why?
The real question might be how what I think of him now compares to what I thought of him before watching the movie. Un-epic? The more hilarious parts. Including the conveniently placed mist, sword, and assorted objects during the fight scene. The addition takes away from the movie. It can't be taken seriously with so many random *snort* moments. Some directors can pull off a movie that is seriously funny or amusingly serious. Or just both serious and funny at the same time. The CGI Beowulf movie rather failed to be serious at all. And it wasn't that hilarious either.
