The lack of friends for the monster is a big deal. the moster wants to be loved and he is just looking for family and friends. he wishes that Victor would take care of him just like he would if he was his son. but victor chooses not to take care of him. he runs away from him as he would if his son was a murder or somthing he did not stand for such as taking dnace class. but the monster is just like everyone of us.

The lack of friends or allies makes the monster alone and isolated. The monster needs someone he can go to for advice. In the novel, the monster is confused about his life and has no one to talk to to. I think the monster needs a chance because people can clearly see he is harmless.

The lack of friends is critical to the creature because it affects how he acts and the things he does. In response to the rejection of the people, the creature reacts in harsh ways, striking with anger and becoming the cause of murder. Also the hurt the monster causes also affects other friendships in the novel.

If the monster was to have friends, he would act in a different manner. His friends would most likely teach him things instead of him learning on his own. He would also not have the rage and anger he does now. He would be more passionate towards other people and much more caring. The monster would have a wonderful personality.

Other people in the book have their close friends, those who they confide in and are able to talk to. The monster does not have this and instead confronts his master about his rejection.

The lack of friends that the monster has affects him greatly. I feel like he is sensitive and he knows that people do not like him because of his appearance. They assume that he is a mean and vicious creature, when the only reason he becomes mean & vicious is the lack of friends. When he sees the people in the town run away from him, it hurts him. It was then that he realized how hideous he is.

I think Victor should have been the monsters friend, even though the monster did those horrible things. He is the one who created him and he should stand by him. All the monster really wants is someone to love him. I agree with kadaverous when they say that if he had friends he would be a completely different being. He would be caring and nice towards other people.

The lack of friendship greatly affects the Creature. He spends a long time watching the family from is hovel, wishing to one day be able to speak to them. When he finally gets the courage to speak to them they scream and send him away. He just wants to be accepted but is not simply beacause of his different looks. Even Victor abandons the monster.

The lack of friendship and all of his loneliness causes the monster to kill William and frame Justine. After the killing takes place the monster asks Victor for a female companion. Victor later states to his father that Elizabeth is one thing that makes him very happy in his life. The creature just wants the same type of companionship.

The monster wishes that Victor would take care of him and have a friends like all the others in the book. however if the monster was to have friends and a family he would be much different. he would not ever be a monster at all and he would be a normal person.

Friendship and acceptance are important themes in the novel. The lack of friendship affects the Creature because he becomes very lonely, sad, and angry. All the humans are afraid of him because he has an ugly appearance. The creature is hurt so he doesn’t think clearly and becomes very destructive and begins killing people. Victor doesn’t care that he created this creature and wants nothing to do with him. The creature just wants a friend. If the creature was accepted, he would be a much friendlier monster. The characters, who have the love and support from others are happy. They are the complete opposite from the creature. The creature watches the family from the cottage and he just wants to have what they have. Even Victor wants to be happy with Elizabeth. The creature doesn't want to feel lonely and empty anymore.

Friendship is an important theme in this book, the monster is greatly affected by this because he lacks it. I think that the monster acts the way he does becuase he does not have friends to help him. He has no one to teach him things that he does not know about, he has to absorbe what goes on around him and learn on his own. He has a lot of anger built up and i think that is why he killed Frankenstien's brother. I think that people are intimidated by him because of his actions and they way he looks. They should not "judge a book by its cover" and give him a chance, i think they would see that he is not that bad and is harmless.

In the novel the monster has no friends. He realizes this as he continues to watch the cottagers. This lonelyness cuases him to try to approach one of the cottagers which in return backfires as the other cottagers run him out. He then realizes that becoming friends with people would be a hard if not impossible task becuase of his physical apperance. Upon realizing this he becomes angry with humans and starts becoming more destructive rather than his gentle self. He asks his creator to give him but one friend, a female, he says that victor owes it to him. Victor agrees and the monster is finally happy again. But as the novel goes on Victor finds it hard to make a new monster and doubts he will do it at all.

In the novel, friendship is vital in order for people to try to survive. The monster in the novel is a very lonely character who does not have any friends. This causes him to start to go crazy, and kill off other people. The monster had no friends because of the way his appearance was like. It was not a good idea for Victor to run away from his monster after the creation because the monster was not going to be able to make friends very easily.

Elizabeth and Victor had a good friendship when they were growing up. Elizabeth was Victor's adopted sister, who was trying to stay friendly with Victor until he isolated himself to create his monster. Victor is also good friends with Justine and allows her to live with him for a short period of time. She ends up getting accused of murdering William, and ends up getting hanged to death.

In Frankenstein friendship is a very important topic. There is friendship between Elizabeth and Victor. Thier freindship is difficult because Elizabeth would do almost anything for Victor but because he is so involved with his monster he doesnt even notice.

The issue with the monster is that nbecause he is so disformed he has no friends and has been abandoned by the one person who should care for him. The monster ran away and hid because he was outcasted by humanity. The lack of friends gives the monster more hatred for humans but that is because he didnt understand.

Mike Lowryk Mr. Miyagi -- what evidence do you have that he would be different if he had a friend? Specifically, what happens in these chapters (13-19)? Give evidence and discuss his responses when he is rejected!

friendship in the novel Frankenstein is very important to the many characters throughout the novel. Throughout the novel we see many friendships like the one between Victor Frankenstien and Justine. The fact that leads the monster into dispression has to do with friendship. He doesnt have any, and this is what leads him into being destructive, and monsterous. I believe if he had better friendship throughout the novel, he wouldnt be as monsterous as everyone makes him out to be.

The lack of friendship that the monster has to deal with is very depressing. I feel that deep inside the monster is a kind and sensitive being, also I feel that the cause of his actions could be the result of how people have reacted towards him thus putting him in a rage of vengeance because others won't except him.

The monster is only looking for friends and someone to teach him the true ways of life. when he finds Victor his creator he asks him for his guidance and to play the role of what he had started. Victor refused he could not help a creature that has murdered his younger brother. This enraged the monster because his own creator was disgusted of him and could not bare the truth that he had creator such a disastrous being. The monster also previously went to the cottagers who he has been secretly very helpful to. The cottagers were terrified of the monster and as well would not bare him anywhere near them.

This depressed the monster how could the family that he has helped in many ways reject him for what he was on the outside, his appearance. No one took the time to look at what he was like in reality, is true kind intentions. The monster now has no one to talk to no one to make him feel better. Thus he becomes vengeful towards all humans. He then finds victor again and since none others will except him he asks victor to create a female companion to accompany him so he does not feel so alone.

Victor as well has isolated himself from friendship. He is so ashamed of his creation that he wont tell a soul. Victor believes that if he does tell someone they will think he is crazy, or that they will punish him for creating such an awful creation.

The creature in "Frankenstein" wants friendship. It is that simple. Since his very own creator, Victor rejected him he feels alone. The creature differs from the other characters in that they all have someone that they can turn to when they feel alone.

Every time the creature sees that other people have someone they can be with it makes him want someone. In chapter 17 the monster demands that he should have afe,ale in his life. He wants a female that he can interchange his feelings with.

The monster wants this female not for sexual reasons, but for someone who can have sympathy and compassion with him. On e thing that the monster says is "I am malicious because I am miserable... and you my creator should pity me." The monster tries to say that his creator should have created someone as hideous as him so that he could have a companion.

The creature wants to have a female like him. Victor though knows that this could take years and begins to feel very sad and upset. Victor though is afraid that he might make mistakes in creating a companion for the monster.

So as one can see it is very simple. These chapters talk about how the monster wants a female in his life. Friendship means alot to the creature and is even causing him to become more hostile and angry. The monster is affected by all the people around him as well who are afraid of him. A boy yells out "Monster! Ugly wretch!". The monster had thought that if he was young he might not have gained any meaning of prejudice. He though was wrong in his presumption.

When the monster had dealt with the young boy it only made things much worse and not have him feel any sense of what friendship might feel like.

Friendship is very important in the novel. The monster is it’s only of its kind. The only person that it can truly relate to is his creator, Frankenstein. Frankenstein really wants nothing to do at all with the monster though. He neglects it and does not treat it right. In chapters 13-19 the monster shows that he is a good person but when provoked he can be hot headed.
He spends most of his days watching a family from a dark room. He learns French and can understand everything that they are saying. He longs to talk to them. This makes him feel much closer to them. When he finally comes out and talks to them they are petrified of him. He later burns their house down after all the hard work he put into rebuilding the house. The monster does many good things but is looked at still as a monster because he does not look the same as anyone else. It does not matter to the people that he does good things because they do not appreciate it. All he wants is people to like him and to accept him. He asks Victor to make him a woman because the monster said that Victor was not acting like a father to him so he needed someone.

The lack of friends affects the creature hugely. He has no one he can turn to, he has no one that can keep him company, and he has no one to love or to love him. The creature is lonely and when he sees people they run away from him because of how he looks. Other characters like William and Elizabeth have each other and their friendship. They can count on each other and care for each other. They will always have each other. The monster has no one because Victor chose to run away from him. Victor left him alone and now the creature is suffering from it and wants someone to be close to.

The creature needs a companion or a parent figure in his life. He needs someone to spend time with. The lack of having a friend or anyone because everyone who sees him runs away is turning the monster bad. The monster is growing with anger because of the lack of friendship in its life. It makes him want to seek vengeance on Victor for not being there for him after he created for him, it makes him want to harm people because of how they run away from him because of how he looks. The monster has never had anyone there for him or any friends and its hurting him.

In chapters 13-19 we see friendship with Felix and Safie. We hear the families’ whole story and we see how happy Felix gets when Safie comes to stay with them. We see how close of a family they are and how the monster would love to be apart of the family. The monster wants friendship in his life and family so bad but people keep rejecting him. The monster starts to go crazy from being rejected so many times. He saves a girls life because she was drowning, but then he is accused for it. The monster swears to seek revenge on mankind and his creator for everything that he has put him through. He goes and burns down the cottager’s house; he kills William and then gets everyone to believe it was Justine. This all happens because everyone has rejected him when he only wanted friends or a father. When he sees Victor he begs him to either act like a father for him or to make him a female companion and everything will stop. All the monster wants is friendship and people to except him because he sees how happy people are when they have it in his life.

Friendships is a very important thing in the life of someone. You need people to talk to and share your feelings with. In the book Frankenstein, the monster has no one there for him. All he wants is to have a companion. Victor always has Clerval there for him but the monster has no one.

I think that if the monster had friends he would be a different kind of person. He knows everyone is terrified of his looks and that angers him. He just wants someone who he could consider a friend. Because he has no one, he becomes angry and lives by himself in the woods. He is so desperate that he says to Victor that he either has to make him a companion or he will destroy him.

In chapter 13-19 a few things happen that comppletely affect the monster. In chapter 15 the monster read a story in which he sees the same situation he is in but the story was not real. The monster took it seriously and then he found pieces of Victors journal and found out the manner in which he was created and how Victor was disgusted with him. These make him want to reveal himself to the Delaceys but when he tries they are terrified of him. This makes the monster mad and want to get revenge against humanity, especially his creator. In chapter 13-19 the monster goes from being a helpful monster to an angry monster because of the way everyone looks at him with disgust and he is lonely.

Friendship is important for anyone. Especially in Frankenstein the role of friendship is gretly shown. In my perspective, Victor Frankenstien and Justine were good friends. The fact that Frankenstien's monster killed his brother than got her executed makes Victor very angered towards his monster. Because Frankenstien's monster is rejected by everyone, he lacks friendship. He goes into the wilderness to stay away from humans because of this. The only source of friendship he recieves is from his creator and then from the people, in the cottage, who he feels affection for.

Frankenstein's monster shows us what lack of friendship can do to someone or something. Frankensteins monster becomes very upset with the way he is treated by the people. They are afraid of him and want nothing to do with him. He gets to the point where he could kill a person because of the way they treat him. One of the things that Frankenstein's monster does is he burns down the cottager's cottage while they are not home. He does this because he is mad at them for rejecting him after he felt affections towards them.

Frankenstein's monster only wants a friend, so he has Victor makes him a compainion so he does not feel so alone. He persuades Victor into doing it, so Victor says they need to go to England to do that for his monster. Even though Victor says he will do this for his monster, he feels that it is difficult for him to get around to doing it.

Even though Victor is making a companion for his monster, his monster still feels like he has to cause distruction and mayhem for the people.

Friendship is clearly an important theme in the novel. It relates to how the monster starts out wanting the friendship of normal human beings. In the begging he spies on a family in a cottage. He sees how miserable they are because he has been stealing their food. The monster feels sorry for his actions then tries to help the young couple and the old man by gathering wood for them at night.
The relationship between the Creator of the monster (Victor) and the monster are important as well. No one wanting anything to do with the monster makes him grow hateful causing him to seek revenge. In killing Victor’s younger brother it makes it nearly impossible for Victor to fully be friends or even forgive the monster for his actions. When monster killed Victor’s brother it also caused the death of Justine Moritz, for she was blamed for the murder. Once Victor discontinues making the female monster it cause the Monster to grow even more hateful.
